More progress

Look at our house...and our favorite guy, Mr. Spencer, who showed us the inside of our new pad! At this rate, we'll be moved in my May! How exciting for this awesome program...and us.

Community Exploration: Picayune TV

 
Today staff and students of the Transition Training Facility went to a local media outlet called Victory Publishing, which produces the newspapers River Cities Tribune, The Picayune and multimedia component called PicayuneTV. Students had a chance to meet the Editor of both newspapers and to also explore the set of Picayune TV. They had a great time playing with the prompts and one student really got into the reporting aspect.
This was such a wonderful experience for our students and we look forward to doing more things with Victory Publishing in the coming months and years.

It's happening!

Today was our ground breaking for the Transition Training Facility. Our house is already taking shape and we're so excited to watch this process unfold. Thanks to everyone who came out today!
